St. Edith Stein Catholic Church
An analytical needs assessment, programming, master planning, and design/documentation services for a newly established parish in Katy, Texas. Services included needs assessment, programming, budget analysis, and interviews with leaders, staff and members. Divided into six phases, this 15-year master plan consists of 8 buildings, totaling 143,000-SF, planned around various internal courtyards on a 20-acre site. The 1,600-seat church will rest on a divergent axis with the other parish buildings, prominently located near the front of the property. The initial phase will include 2 buildings, totaling 38,000-SF, and will provide for the parish's immediate needs of worship, fellowship, and education.
