St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church
Located in one of the fastest growing areas in the country, Saint Francis of Assisi parish is planning for the future with a 2,000-seat traditional Romanesque-style church and a 260-seat daily Mass chapel to accommodate their conservative congregation. Honest building materials such as stone, integral color cement stucco and copper roofs embellish the design which expands the ideas explored in the design competition for Houston's Cathedral. The future phases of the master plan include a K-8 day school, youth hall, Knights of Columbus Hall, outreach center, and faith information and administration additions.
