St. Philip Presbyterian Church
A master plan and redesign for this 50 year old Presbyterian community located in was generated to attract younger, family oriented members in Houston's Uptown Galleria District. The master plan consists of 3 phases including a new 44,000-square foot education building, 10,000-square foot fellowship hall, 90-foot tall bell tower, and renovation of the existing sanctuary. The new and planned buildings reorganize the campus hierarchy, respond to the direct connection of the remaining campus buildings and anticipate the future development of the campus and surrounding properties. Situated among the mature campus landscape, the prominent entrance drive and proposed entry building designate a new "front door" offering a comforting welcome.
